3 months later – another lifestyle update! 😉

…und heute mal auf Englisch. Gewöhnt euch besser dran!

Außerdem ist es die perfekte Gelegenheit auch mal ein bisschen zu üben. 🙂

Soooo, its been a while since I’ve written the last „My life in letters“ blogpost and there is also a lot that has changed since then. And as my number of international followers grows I decided to write a few blogposts in english, especially those that concern my personal life.

Not long ago, my mom and I founded Moments Bakery and I’m super busy at the moment with it. But although it takes lots of time to run the company I love it and wouldnt change a thing. That #girlboss thing gets clearer. But it hasn’t always been like that…

Exactly year ago my life was a mess. I was stuck in a relationship that didn’t work out and my career didn’t seem to go where I wanted it to go.

Although the climax of my last years crisis wasn’t nearly reached, I was very desperate. I knew exactly what I wanted but there wasn’t the slightest hint to a possible cenario how I could make it happen. At least not within a short time like a year.

My big dream was to be successful as a travel blogger and entrepreneur and I wanted to move to the US.
I wanted to live there since my feet touched american ground for the first time at the age of 13.

If there was any place in the world that I would call home its the big cities in the states.

New York. LA. Miami.

Don’t ask me why, I’ve no idea. But everytime I had to leave I was very sad. I wanted to stay. I just love it. The spirit, the good vibes, the open minded society, the casual way to get in contact with people and the manners.

But the reality was nowhere near my dreams. I was a blogger, yeah. But not really successful by this time. No wonder, my blog was only three months old and not popular at all.

Anyway, like many of you must know 2015 was very challenging for me and the blog became one of the most important things in my life. It helped me to get through things, to work it out, to write about it and to handle it.

The difficult situations are those who make us grow. And in 2015 I grew more than ever before. I figured out what I wanted in life, in any matter. Career, friends, relationships. Especially what I want and expect from men – basically because I got to know what it is like to be chased by a charming American. Since then I’m not able to date german guys anymore… haha. But never mind, I’m not in dating mood anyway since the biz grind has me.

But anyway, the more experiences I made and the more people I met, the more I knew what I really wanted in life:

  1. I want to inspire people and show them that its possible to live their dream, no matter where they are in their lives and how desperate everything may seem.
  2. I want to spread love and affect people with my positivity.
  3. I want to increase my popularity in order to be able to reach and to motivate more people.
  4. I want to build an empire and create/design and advertise high quality products that make people happy and add huge value to their lives. And I already got them started with Honigkeks and Moments Bakery.
  5. I want to combine my skills and resources with other peoples skills/resources in order to create synergies and get the best results for everyone.

And the most important of all:

I want to leave Germany as soon as possible and live in the states. Only for a while at the beginning, but who knows ? Maybe I’ll stay forever. Of course, that does also depend on the question if Mister Right shows up overseas. 😀

We’ll see…everything happens for a reason and time will tell.

New York is always a good idea…

My blood is croatian, my passport is german but my heart is american. I feel like I belong there and my next big step will be to move to New York by summer – the place where my long and hard journey to the top has begun. Exactly 23 months ago. It all started with one simple decision. In the middle of 5th Avenue.

I can see myself like it was out of a movie.

Me standing between impressive skyscrapers and making the commitment that I’ll make it to the top, no matter how and no matter what it takes. Epic success will be mine.

Then entering the Tiffanys Flagship store and buying a symbolic bracelet – not the one I’m wearing all the time. That one has another meaning. 😉

Return to (Tiffany & Co. ) New York.

5th Ave has me. One day later, on my flight back I started planning all the collections for my luxury pet accessories brand. I even designed the logo on board. I got started immediately and turned my little facebookpage where I sold my self produced stuff into a high quality brand. I’m gonna make it to the top and own the main brand for luxury fashion & pet accessories.

But first I’ll take Moments Bakery to the top and appreciate all your positive feedback and support so far. I can’t express how grateful I am to have such a lovely community.

And I’ll move to New York by summer.

My puppies will come with me of course. I’m so unbelievably excited about it and I’m totally looking forward to:

  • connecting and networking
  • taking business opportunites
  • learn, learn, learn
  • running in Central Park
  • discovering outdoor gyms
  • entering the NYC nightlife
  • walking the puppies in dog parks
  • exploring the best food places
  • meeting new friends and interesting people
  • finding the most beautiful sunset spots
  • taking stunning pictures of the skyline and impressive buildings
  • working with my Macbook at Starbucks
  • probably getting another tattoo 😀 (sorry Mom.)

….a whole new world. I’ve always wanted it. And I’m gonna make it happen. Nothing can stop me.  I promise.

2016 , I absolutely love you! New York, I’m coming! <3

…so come with me, where dreams are born and time is (never) planned. Just think of happy things and your heart will fly on wings, in Never Neverland New York New York !

Wie finanziere ich NEW YORK eigentlich?!

    Hallo Dajana,
